Whether you're getting ready with your best friends to go out, preparing for a date or simply touching up your face, makeup is usually a staple in any girls day to day life. From glitters or smokey shadows, makeup can be used in a multitude of ways making it a very valuable tool. In this article I'm going to be breaking down my favorite looks step by step, and providing a guide on how to tailor them to your unique style.
Look 1: Blue eyeshadow

Blue eyeshadow has always been an iconic makeup look. Being especially prominent throughout the fashion industry, it has materialized as a beautiful display of femininity. And whether they're rebellious or playful, bold eyes are one of the best ways to highlight the face while still keeping an individuals main features. Blue, is also a color that heavily increases contrast and depth which adds even more to the allure of the look. Here are some of the best products that can help you achieve these stunning styles.
In most of these photos, their skin is still very natural so I would recommend either a skin tint or light foundation like these. These aren't meant to conceal, but to brighten your natural complexion which in turn makes blemishes less noticeable. For concealer, your usual shade will do. Some good concealers are the Hourglass, Nars and Kosas ones!
In the photos, their faces are light bronzed/contoured along with minimal blush. Here are some similar ones. The bronzer and blush adds a nice glow while contour helps to snatch and define areas like the nose and cheekbones.
The eyebrows are kept in their natural shape so any brow gel will work. Now onto the main part of the look the eyes. Depending on which look your going for the eyeshadow colors will vary but the general application is all the same. Starting for the inner corner your going to apply the shadow to the lid, fanning it out till the end of the eyebrow. Eyeliner is also a key part of the look. You can either tight-line with a black gel liner,
or use a black shadow and slightly blend it out below the waterline along with a minor wing. In the photo of Kate, her eyes also have a glittery green shadow below the waterline which adds a pop of color. Here are some palettes that are similar to the shadows used on Lily and Kate. Although its on the pricier side, Dior has so many beautiful blue shadows that are almost identical to the ones in the photos.
The lips are a nude colored base so any nude lippies will work perfectly along the eyeshadow! These are some I'd recommend:

Look 2: Real Life angel

The angel look is one of the most flattering and eye catching makeup looks one can achieve. The large doe eyes with lots of shimmer and highlight really add allure and appeal. I think what makes this look so other worldly is its softness, making whoever is wearing it look super delicate and graceful. The common theme between these looks is highlighted inner corners with silver glitter.
Here are some palettes I would use to get this makeup look:
